Like most other items you want to buy, cheap bunk beds are available, but sometimes come with a tradeoff between quality and price. However, since bunk beds have safety issues, when looking at cheap bunk beds, buyers must use precaution.
Buyers should look for the best-priced bunk beds rather than simply cheap bunk beds. The former implies that buyers will seek high-quality beds at the best price, rather than simply shopping on price. If you shop around, particularly online, you should be able to find high-quality bunk beds at reasonable prices. Online retailers do not have to pay the high cost of traditional showrooms and/or a commissioned sales staff, and as such, can pass on the savings to their customers.
Buyers should visually inspect used beds and/or purchase used beds only if they are manufactured by a reputable firm. In addition, beds should be inspected regularly after purchase to ensure that they stay in top shape and any defects are noticed quickly and remedied.

1. The easiest way to jazz up your outdoor deck or patio is by using splashes of color. Sometimes it only means investing in a few accent pieces that make a bold statement and your outdoor living space perks right up. You don’t always have to buy new – with a little elbow grease and some creativity you can make second hand items look brand new. Here are some ideas to help get you started.
2. Before you begin, clear everything off of your deck or patio and give it a good pressure wash. If it needs staining, all the new furniture in the world won’t help – bite the bullet and give it a new coat of stain or paint. This is actually a great place to get started with colorful accents. Try painting your fence posts a bright, coordinating color such as teal. Or paint a pattern or border around the edge of your deck.
3. Decks are for socializing, so show that you are ready for company. The addition of metal furniture is inexpensive and comes in lots of great colors. Place a colorful bar cart in the corner and load it up with bright acrylic glassware.
4. Give your old wicker furniture a facelift by painting it in bright sunny colors, or if you’re feeling adventuress, use a stencil and add flowers or other patterns. Just use acrylic paint, but seal it with varnish to protect your paint job.
5. Get a hold of a galvanized bucket or oblong container, paint it bright blue or orange and add a vine pattern on the outside. Voila, now you have a fancy ice-bucket for all your coolers. Remember, unless you’re using a food-safe paint, the surface should not come in direct contact with food.

Bunk bed plans are design plans to build the perfect bunk bed. Bunk bed plans include do-it-yourself instructions to build a bunk bed out of wood. Some plans include just the bunks, while others also include plans to build drawers and other features.
Most bunk bed plans begin with the building of two twin size beds. Then the plan explains how to build the infrastructure and attach the beds. Some plans include instructions to use box springs to support the mattress rather than merely plywood. Such a design will make the bunk bed more comfortable for kids.
When building a bunk bed, special attention must be paid to safety because the bed will not be subject to quality control testing like beds created in factories. It is critical to ensure that the mattress fits snugly on all sides of the bed, and that the bed frame is sturdy. Finally, the ladder must be firmly connected to the bed.
